BBR Laser Master Racers!

We are only 14 weeks away from the 48th Annual Buzzards Bay Regatta hosted by New Bedford Yacht Club!  Join racers from Narragansett Bay, Buzzards Bay, Vineyard Sound, Mass Bay, and all over New England, for a great 3-day event both on and off the water.  Prepare for the legendary Buzzards Bay Sou’Westers on the racecourse and friendlier conditions under the tent on shore!

Tried and true race management will be on hand  for the 2020 Laser Masters National Championship.

Hospitality is set to impress this year, with a Friday Night Barbeque with Brian Duchaney on guitar, and an authentic Pig Roast on Saturday with the BaHa Bros Band!

NOR is posted and Registration is up and running!

Wickford Yacht Club and the entire Wickford Regatta team are saddened to announce that we will not be able to host Wickford Regatta 2020 in June. While there are some signs of improvement in the virus situation, we are still far from a sufficiently safe environment to host the regatta.
However, we haven’t given up! The Seidenberg New England Masters is already on the Wickford Yacht Club calendar for September 12-13 and we have a green light to host a revised Wickford Regatta 2020 concurrent with the Seidenberg New England Masters. It is far too early to make an official announcement, but we would like everyone to pencil in the date in hopes that we can make it happen.
We will be returning all entry fees received to date next week. If the event goes forward at a new date we will start over as a new event. There are certain to be format changes to accommodate whatever the new reality becomes. Classes will likely change to some degree. We will do everything we can to build a new event that will let us get back to the sport we love in a safe environment.
So think positive, stay safe and look forward to a new Wickford Regatta 2020 in September.
