The American Yacht Club wants you!!!
The American Yacht Club in Newburyport has had a great ILCA/Laser season.  We are a small fleet, but with a great core of sailors, a strong race committee group, and a club that really supports what we are doing here on Joppa Flats on the Merrimack River.   Being so tide dependent, we race every other Sunday, and have been racing through June and July with great turnout.  Our typical race day has 6-10 sailors with a mix of full and radial rigs on the water. There have been 4 different winners of our race days, including 2 juniors.    We have been very fortunate to have some road warriors from New Hampshire and Maine join us for many of our races.  Looking forward to a lot of racing for the rest of the summer and into September.
