Thank you to our D7 Championship and Grand Prix Sponsors
We have some great sponsors helping us to revive the D7 Championship and Grand Prix.

The International Sailing Academy (ISA), located in La Cruz, Mexico, just north of Puerto Vallarta is renowned for its excellent instructional staff, including Olympic champions and highly experienced Olympic coaches, but it's more than just big names. ISA offers a systematic process for learning to sail an ILCA at the highest levels. Its curriculum is appropriate for beginners and experts, juniors and masters. All this is offered at an excellent facility with dependable winds that start light in the morning then build as a reliable local thermal kicks in for the afternoon. Sailors practice in all conditions throughout the day. Additionally, ISA offers virtual coaching. ISA has graciously offered one free clinic tuition to the winner of the 2023 Grand Prix. This is up to a $2600 value! Wow! All you need to do is cover travel and lodging and get ready to turn on your ILCA afterburners.

CARIBWIND  offers excellent laser training in Playa Cabarete, a beautiful north coast town in the Dominican Republic that combines the best of tourism and water sports with friendly Dominican culture. Cabarete Beach is a two mile stretch featuring plenty of opportunities to sun and swim while enjoying food and drink at beachside restaurants. CARIBWIND offers ILCA clinics for all levels with experienced laser coaches and Olympic sailors. This is hands-down, the best place for big wave sailing. After you delight in the towering rollers driven by the Trades, CARIBWIND staff will help you put away your boat so you can stroll down a gorgeous beach for a meal and a beverage. Not too shabby. There is a lot to do, so bring the family. CARIBWIND is providing three $300 discounts to their clinics which will go to midfleet sailors in both the Championship and Grand Prix.

If you want the best rigging for your ILCA, go no further than southeastsailboats. Owner Max Hunt makes beautiful custom rigging at an affordable price and has a full selection of laser gear, plus you get to say that your rigging comes from the United Kingdom.  How cool is that? There will be a gift certificate to southeastsailboats in excess of 100 pounds for second place in the Grand Prix. ( I secretly want this one as I have some of Max's rigging, and it's awesome.)

Colie Sails is 100% focused on small boat sailing and has an excellent selection of ILCA equipment. Owner Clay Johnson, an excellent sailor and very helpful guy, will set up up with what you need. This shop is a great source for ILCA sails and is widely known from their custom boat covers. A gift certificate of $75 will be awarded to third place in the Grand Prix.

Our sponsors have done their part.  Now it's time for you to do yours.  Register for the D7 Championship and Grand Prix Finale, October 21-22 at Eastern Yacht Club in Marblehead, MA. Click this link!
